Siddipet gets first integrated market in Telangana

Siddipet: Former Minister T Harish Rao has inaugurated the integrated vegetable and meat market in Siddipet town on Wednesday. The market, the first of its kind in Telangana, was built in a space of six acres by spending Rs 20 crore.

Addressing the gathering on this occasion, Rao said that Chief Minister, K Chandrashekar Rao proposed the construction of Integrated markets after seeing the non-vegetarian food being sold in unhygienic circumstances. He said that they had created the best facilities for meat and vegetable vendors too. Saying that the construction of similar markets was underway across the State, the former Minister has informed the Chief Minister gives utmost priority to hygiene.
He has said that the citizens can purchase all the groceries, non-vegetarian, vegetables, fruits and everything from here. Saying that the town is already having four Rythu Bazars, he has said that the new market will address all the issues.

 

Stating that they had created 108 stalls for vegetable vendors, Rao has said that they have created parking facility at two places. Since over 600 farmers were expected to arrive at the market to sell their vegetables every day, the sixth-time Siddipet MLA said that they were expecting the market will have at least Rs 10 lakh worth business every day.

He has further announced that they would also construct a slaughterhouse in the town very shortly by spending about Rs 4 crore. Collector, D Krishna Bhaskar, Municipal Chairman, Kadavergu Rajanarsu and others were present.

Avasarame bedaru....rythu bazaar anedi oka old concept...20 yendlu aitundi...inka kuda rythu bazaar ani chepukuntd etla ? 

Modern times and needs are changing and we need integrated farming and commercialization of agricukture and such markets are the need of the hour..
