If you look at IPL 2021 stats in Dubai - Top 20 bowlers only 2 Foreign spinners did well Rashid and Narine , everyone else struggled , but we haven't faced them Mitchell Santner did not even got a chance to play for CSK , Thing to note here is they did not got out to unplayable googly or other deliveries , No one tried to rotate strike or build partnership and played shots with a HOPE of clearing boundary which rarely works.
