I got my renewed passport in hand now. Thank you Everyone for suggesting the Walkin option. I got it in 3 days but in second try. I wasted a day in first try and the application was rejected as I didn't select "Change of personal details" along with "Renewal of Passport" as options . As I walked in , only one day got wasted.
