Triangular vs 2-party elections

In 2019, Triangular fights in AP helped YSRCP sweep the state & left TDP & ChaBaNa with a humiliating defeat of the lifetime.

In 2023, Triangular fights in Karnataka helped Congress get majority & performed better than expected.

Another latest triangular fight in Telangana helped Congress win simple majority handing BRS a shocking defeat!

But in 2024, the alliance of BJP+JSP+TDP vs YSRCP is a 2-way fight as BJP is literally a 0 in AP & JSP has presence only in few select seats....also there's no guarantee there will be vote transfer from JSP to TDP and vice versa....in this scenario....the fight becomes easier for YSRCP as there is no third party in Andhra with more than 10% vote share like BJP in Telanagana & JDS in Karnataka.

Whoever wins will get a clear majority....unfortunately for TDP, things don't look good despite being in alliance with JSP & BJP and having propaganda pieces for media!

There is a clear Urban vs Rural divide in TS elections....there is no Urban city like Hyderabad....semi-Urban & rural areas might lean heavily towards YSRCP....as ChaBaNa was a never a charismatic leader & never won elections without BJP's support! TDP will sure increase its tally but will not win elections.

when more than 1 opposition party is the main oppostion & another party=10%+ vote share, then yes!

In Andhra that is not the case!

So far in the history of India if any party came to power with more than 80% of the seats, then that party always got a second term but with lesser margin. Only exception NTvodu..
