Neeeko matter thelusa about this FREE bus?

RTC takes all these free tickets that were issued and bills govt for reimbursement. Govt has to pay RTC back.

Govt ante people… so ila free ticket ichhi ala tax money nunchi pay chestharu.

example... when i was in chennai during 2009-2010...free tv was distributed...and most of those tvs were sold in black market...

how it is an employment opportunity..?

its nothing but...selling train track to పాత ఇనపు సామాను కొట్టు...

its not hypothetical..

for example...i wan to deliver one bag / one letter / one laptop/ one pickle.. from hyd to nallagonda/karimnagar....

if any one reaches to courier service..they charge something...and they deliver one or two days..

but in this new free bus for ladies system...if anyone approaches to a lady (who are ok with it and  who wants side income)..they just charge very less..and deliver with out expense (all they have to spend is time.....passing time in this internet era is not difficult)..

Hyderbad to Karminagar one parcel ne delivery cheyadanki thakkuva charge chesi day antha evaru waste chesukuntaru ? If chesina kuda they are not stepping on existing courier service toes as they are doing same day delivery. This is new bussiness model.

More people use public mass transit system... less traffic less pollution less accidents less crimes... as demand grows more buses will be ordered more employee hiring.

I do agree that more people should use public transport system and it has advantages

Evidence has shown that the more subsidies one sector receives the less likely it is going to expand or in most cases they just contract by a big margin

Chennai has 6500 MTC buses in 2006 , they didn't revise bus fares much from that period onwards causing MTC to suffer losses and be unable to afford to even maintain existing bus fleet. Nowadays MTC barely runs 2500 buses

Same thing happened to free agriculture current under NTR , we used to get 24 hour paid current  for agriculture before 1984 but after free current was introduced it went down to 4-5 hours for the next 2 decades

Same thing for canal maintenance , previously farmers used to pay fee per acre and maintain canals by themselves but when government made it free, they maintained for a few years but afterwards just ignored them

Any govt run road transportation corporation is not for profits. They are there to serve public and provide access to remote parts of the country. Theoretically they should be funded by govt to cover losses. Govt fund chesthundha ledha anedhi different issue.

Even in vomerica even people vunna lekunna public buses thirgutha untai bcoz they are funded by federal, state, city irrespective losses.

Already KaChRa merged RTC with govt. inka special ga rtc appulu em untai state ke unna lachala kotla apoulo rtc appulu kuda kalsi pothai.

Most of the RTC prime assets are already leased during last few years with lengthy lease terms so vatini kadhapa daniki ledhu.

They don't need to make profits but atleast they must earn enough to sustain themselves.

Comparision with america where every welfare scheme is fully funded before it goes live , i.e they specific taxes to fund them . In India not a single welfare  scheme has any specified  tax , everything comes from one common pool
