Governments may. But how can this stand if challenged in court? A direct disregard to Article 15 of Indian constitution!

A private restaurant is a small deal and wouldn't attract already overburdened judiciary's attention. I don't think people would be willing to fight for it by taking it court as well. Who would do that ?

Cultural transplantation is inevitable. By your logic, should US and rest of the West not allow Indians to bring their culture with them? Not just Indians, any race shall try to retain its culture as it's a part of Identity unless forced assimilation was carried out like the name of Residential or Boarding School system is one such methods in US and Canada.

This is a shocking update from YouTuber Nikita Thakur. We're familiar with KIA Motors in Anantapur, touted as the vision of former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.

It was claimed that the factory would provide employment not only within but also in surrounding hotels and restaurants. Massive tax exemptions were granted to KIA, causing a state loss of Rs 20,000 Cr.

The YouTube channel exposed the reality through a sting operation in Korean-owned restaurants around KIA Motors of Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh, which are exclusively for Korean employees and dignitaries, denying entry to Indians.

Establishing a hotel and restaurant business in India with a 'No Entry' policy for Indians is shocking. When questioned, they claim this has been the norm since KIA started.

It's surprising that neither Chandrababu's nor Jagan Mohan Reddy's government has taken action. This discrimination and racism are condemnable and unacceptable.

A restaurant manager of this region admitted that the establishment is not open to Indians but evaded explaining the reason.

Furthermore, the revelation that workers in these Korean restaurants are from Nepal, not India, was exposed by the same channel's sting operation. This raises concerns about employment for locals with foreign investments, as these businesses neither pay taxes nor provide jobs for locals.

Additionally, it appears that South Korean individuals govern their restaurant and hotel businesses in Anantapur with authority similar to the dictator of North Korea.

PIL or Writ petition or Private Complaint asking the judiciary to direct law enforcers to investigate on the claim and act on it. Small or big doesn't matter. Law is law.

Rights of admission reserved by the establishment….Idi constitution ichina right ae…

Article 15(2) of the Indian Constitution prohibits restriction to any citizen of India on entry to a public hotel, restaurant or place of entertainment on the grounds "only of religion, race, caste, sex [and/or] place of birth". It is a fundamental right guaranteed to all citizens of India.

The Supreme Court of India has held a "public place" to mean any place which is open to the public and to also include private places functioning to serve a non-exclusive group of people. Hence, a club or premise opened only to serve its affiliates or members shall not be considered a public place for the purpose of this provision of law.

Hence, if a citizen of India is not denied admission purely on the basis of his/her religion, race, caste, sex or place of birth, his admission to a restaurant or a hotel owned and operated by the government or private concerns may be prohibited as the rights of admission may be reserved with the management of the premises.

Just to conclude you can sue the hotel for denying entry
