What is your motivation to learn python. Just the hype or do you have a specific role you are targeting for

Remember just switching languages will again takes years to settle down and be an expert

why move from developer to QA ? Developer aithe Nodejs/cloud/golang/java etc... cheyocchu. if you work with data - spark/flink etc big data side or eventually ai/ml povachhu.  lot of dev's write their own unit/integration tests including cucumber/selenium etc.  

aren't you limiting yourself to a narrow  role if you are moving to QA automation?
