Full tank you get 700 miles easily. Where as odyssey gives you 380 miles. Huge difference. I see that is the only reason.

Dont fall for the mpg. Car hybrid mode only helps only on local roads and that too you have to be very gentle on acceleration. Also in winter if you are in cold area hybrid wont help much. I have rav4 hybrid. Its rated 41 mpg and i am in hot area and getting around 35. It will be worse in cold areas. Toyota you have to pay msrp + freight+ dealer add ons. It will take atleast 8 years to make up the price difference in gas savings

also read about toyota cable gate issues for toyota hybrids. Resale on sienna is very good and they will last for  20 years if maintain properly

Bro i have 23 rav4 hybrid and i am getting 35 mixed. I am not in a hill area or anything. On highway if you are doing above 70 hybrid is useless. It only helps in city driving with mpg and you have to be easy on the gas pedal. If you do lot of city driving then hybrid is better otherwise not much gas savings. Starting 2019 hybrid models have hybrid cable corrosion issue if you live in cities that use salt. Google toyota cable gate issue. It costs 6000$ to replace this out of warranty.

honda has v6 while toyota is i4 which produces more noise and less pickup. If you drive 15000 miles a year, you will spend 2046$ on odyssey and 1300$ on sienna assuming gas is 3$. So if you are paying 5k more for sienna it will take about 7 years to break even.

I am driving Toyota sienna Limited since 5 + months. I am getting around 36-38 on city and 34-35 on highway. Last month I drove to Chicago(around 1000 miles one way from my place) I got around 34 mpg with heater set to 75. I did notice that heating was much better in my Rogue than Sienna. If you can get Sienna without much add-ons then you can blindly go for Sienna. My limited costed 51.8k before taxes. Sienna does have removable middle seat but only in LE and XLE models.

i prefer hybrid bcoz i do lot of city driving  . .. car pool.. kids classes etc..abt issues.. every car if u google will show issues.. toyota hybrid is from 1997.  atleast me never faced issue.  you are talking abt buying price.. but hybrid cars selling is very easy..  within a day i can sell my car... ..unlike gas cars

one major difference is toyota sienna has awd where as no awd for honda odyssey. ppl living in snow cities will prefer awd and another big thing is hybrid with good gas mileage for sienna.

All Siennas are hybrid only. OTD is 51.8+3k(tax) =54.8k

The best thing about sienna is you need to hardly make gas stops during long drives. During my last long drive(about 1000 miles) I started with full tank and filled around 14 gallons in between that's all. Space also really good..but please note that Sienna is still on TSS2.0 where as rest of models like Rav4 moved to TSS3.0..Sienna might get TSS3.0 in 25 model

This is what makes desis most successful and financially stable compared to people from other countries.
