Not Really…!!! Vizag never has the scope of ITES business. Many tier-2 cities tried their luck but eventually realized. 

I can list few cities which promoted ITES but failed to take off. Bhubhaneshwar, Mysore, Coimbatore, Mohali, Ahmedabad, Kochi/Thiruvanthapuram etc. chala aggressive ga promote chesinaru kani ivala ITES destinations Bangalore, Hyderabad, NCR, Pune. Even Chennai which was a hot cake once is not the same anymore.

Hyd was a tier 2 city for IT till late 90s. lot of effort was put in to grow it. You grew up with KCR propaganda so will never realize that. 

Hyd was great cultural hub traditionally antu goddu gosa kaburlu cheppoddu. Look at IT exports out of Chennai vs Hyd in early 90s vs now. While Chennai grew 5 to 10 fold, Hyd grew 50 fold

This is bound to happen. I saw Coimbatore and Mysore trying hard during 2005-2015 to replace or at least create an alternative agianst a highly concentrated clusters of Chennai, Bang etc.

This is not so easy as employees will be reluctant to relocate and companies will have many restrictions to relocate to such location creating a chicken and egg problem..

To make the things worse, TDPs real estate investors invited HCL like companies to sell their lands.

Yesu Reddy tried to reverse what ever gains Pulkas made in Gannavaram which is hot bed of hard-core Pulka fanatics.
