I moved to NC end of 2020 and paid 1600 rent for a 2 BR 2 Bath. Apt. I believe it should be the same or less now because this is not the time when usually people relocate. I rented a 2 BR 2 Bath because we had 2 kids. 1 Br should be around 1300 in Apex and Holly Springs area. We rented in this area because we wanted to buy a house in this area as well at that time. You said NC but it is broad. Narrow your cities and that should help you to move forward.
