Going to India helps a lot. Having grand parents also helps them to talk in Telugu. Set these rules at home. Do not talk in English. A lot of us try to make it easy for kids thinking, kids are finding it tough to speak in Telugu/English. Often times you will hear them say they are getting confused and talking in Telugu in schools. Do not fall for it. (We fell for it). Eventually they will learn both and know where to talk in English and Telugu.

Thanks for the bolded part. In a way comforts me as we fell for it as well. We have started going to India regularly now, as we want the kids to see the place as well.

Have pity on your kids and don't send to manabadi.

It's like sending them to Narayana or Sri Chaitanya.

That time is better spent on their overall development.

Having grandparents make a ton of difference. They are forced to talk to them in Telugu.
