because most of the hindus are interested in politics than what religion says…

puranalu, upa puranalu enni vunnayo adigithe okkadu cheppadu…but they give lectures about politics…

The beauty of Hinduism is you dont need to read and follow all the books of the religion…

Hinduism allows you to be free to follow parts of Hinduism according to your convenience.

Hinduism is the only religion with total freedom of thought and expression.

In Hinduism

* You can be an idol worshiper or just spiritual.

* You can eat meat or you can be a vegan.

* You can fast any day of the week or you can eat everyday.

* No restriction on praying on certain time or day.

* Follow your Dharma and rest leave it to the Karma.

totally agree…all the points you mentioned…

in hinduism…it preached all philosophies…check the vivekanada Chicago speeches…you can read all three speeches in an hour…

but thats not happening now…once you read all three speeches…ping me…i always open for mindful discussion…

ushho…

same question…if you do that..which caste you place him..?

first answer that…then we can discuss later…

Who said to you that you should defenitly have caste to become a Hindu.

Hinduism is all about freedom, You can Follow Sanatana Dharma and you can become a Hindu.

Caste system is a social system and has NOTHING to do with any of the Hindu philosophies. So agreeing or disagreeing to the caste system has NO impact on being a Hindu.

Just an analogy...

Vedas are not really dictated by a prophet, they are spread from generation to generation by mouth aka chants

https://www.scribd.com/document/345477704/sankalpam-2

Whatever I said, this is a standard sankalpam that is a  intitiation chant of a standard puja.

sankalpa which is a kind of declaration to ourselves and to the God withinus. The Vedas says that whole Universe is evolved through a Sankalpa ofLord Srian!aaraayana.Sankalpa is a Sanskrit word meaning a resolution" a free will or adetermination. The word Sankalpa itself means good intention# an oath ora resolution to do something# a solemn pledge to do something good. $nSanskrit %San& means good and %'alpa& means a Saasthra or a Veda.Sankalpa means proposal to do something good in a Vedic or a Saasthricway. $n any religious ceremony or ritual generally we observe a persontaking a sankalpa (firm resolve) to achieve the purpose of the ceremony.Sankalpa literally means taking firm decision to accomplish one particularthing in spite of facing troubles in its achievement

I only wish if people first know the inner details Hinduism before doing comments based on some half knowledged intellectual writings.

The core of hinduism is "Vasudaika Kutumbakam", the planet is one. But the core of Jew or Muslim is 'we/they'..muslims call them kafirs.

Hinduism is an eternal debate with many philosophies amalgamated into one, dvaitam, advaitam, vishista dwaitam etc...I don't even understand the jewish connection. Jew is a practice, a cult. It's an abrahamic religion

Jews, Christians and Muslims are abrahamic religions. Muslims are branched from Judaism and Christianity. Eastern religions are non-abrahamic (hinduism, buddhism etc.). They are focussed on enlightenment

No. Through oral chants in veda pathasalas, vedic knowledge orally propagated. Just the mantra won't be enough, the mind body and soul is a part of vedic chant. Yajur veda itself is a song.

That's why priests need to go through a process (which is unfortunately became rigid for the system). Now non-brahmin priests are also coming into the system but they will probably have to learn it.

If there's something to blame in India, it's nepotism. The core of caste system is nepotism.

This actually triggered debate at that time. But there are lot of references in hinduism which indicates that there's no proof that caste comes from birth. But the world will never be fair because...prestige.

So same question to you.

usually a christian convert will be put in what category ??

Catholic/Protestant/Church of england ?

if someone converted to islam.

will he be Sunni / Shia/ Ahmadi ??

You realize that many get converted back to hinduism at varanasi and other temples rite ?

You are stuck on a thought and trying to convince others that you have a valid point.

bro..how to do those oral chants itslef there is a seperate rules for that...see below screenshot...

but the point is...who were allowed at those times in gurukul to learn these...

now you can learn online...but still we are bound to caste system and no one listens to them now if anyone really read ...

..dont say there is no caste system now...
