Sandeep Vanga took a lot of a lot of cinematic liberty in this movie and I can see his confidence in the writing and scene making. I hope his confidence won't turn into arrogance like RGV, his career graph is more or less like RGV. With 2 movies he went straight to the top ladder in bollywood. Sandeep's formula is making macho alpha male movies while RGV's formula was making gangster movies. We all know how RGV fell out of favor after a few movies with the same formula. 

Rangeela came in 1995 - 3 years before his first gangster film Satya. RGV has a vastly diverse filmography and there is no other director in the Indian cinema that has touched as many genres as RGV did.

Antham - Neo noir

Raat - horror

Gaayam - Political thriller

Money - Comedy thriller

Govinda Govinda - Supernatural heist with comedy

Rangeela - Romantic Comedy

W/o V Varaprasad - Romantic Thriller

Prema katha - Romance Drama

This is just a sample... And the best part is many of his experiments were hits in his first years. There is a lot that Sandeep has to achieve before their names can be taken in the same breath.
