Not for another 2-3 decades

yes...it wont go anywhere next 2 decades...

huge developer community is on javascript and pushing their millions of packages to npm.js...

and microsoft is also pramoting typescript heavily...which is just a Typing falvour on javascript...

all major companies like google, meta..etc have very reputed libraries like angular, react..etc

javascript occupied.. web browser, desktop (electron.js), mobile (react-native..etc)..etc

with out JSON...cant imagine some NO-SQL databases...

its not easy...to get rid of it...

JavaScript was developed in just 10 days , it was not properly designed language, instead it developed for specific purpose....

Google try to kill it with dart but Microsoft released typescript at the same time , people adopted typescript and ditched googles efforts..

But dart is way better language than typescript and JavaScript

its a additional layer on javascript with type safety…

true. kani feels better to work if you are coming from a strongly typed language

agree…

but if you are dealing with other third part libraries you have to import type definitions…or declare them as “any”…

lot of developers fantasize about typescript but they have to compromise somewhere with “any”…

Not really, initial version of angular developed in dart and later adopted to typescript, flutter was completely has dart support from beginning, there was chromium project that support dart natively..... Google plan was kill js .... initially transpile dart code to js later once all browsers support dart , remove that transpilation but Microsoft killed Google's ambitions with typescript
