Caste politics is there in Telangana as well. I will put it this way. Andhra has better caste awareness and were early to fight feudalism unlike Telangana where feudal system still survives in one form or another. Dora was able to rule the state for two straight terms and won many seats without even giving appointment to his MLAs much less common public. Such feudal behavior will never be tolerated in Andhra. The intense caste battles among both dominant castes, backward castes and scheduled castes is quest for power and the alliances to achieve that power. It gets worse before it gets better.
