IMO most of these companies are lacking clear revenue generation plan....

if in case any of these companies algorithm or specific feature is good.. big companies will buy out and kill those small companies... (but that happens very less percentage...)

UK Govt and some private individuals invested directly into this company around £700 Million which is roughly equivalent to 7000 Crore INR -- now this company went into administration. They invested heavily on the core technology. Not sure where this will end up.

Decrease in population is going to be real hard fact. Office automation will definitely be affected. But real manual jobs will not be affected.

I have tried a simple task for code generation in Java8 and Scala: Related to 'Map' and 'flatMap' code generation, the code generated is an absolute bull sh!t. I spent more time on re-factoring that bull sh!t... I should have done the coding with bare hands, could have got the task done in half a day.

Even if the code generated is of any good use, what about unit testing, which is the most sensible part of coding. Then integration tests and business reviews, deployments, bug fixes and many other important aspects of development life cycle....

AI sucks...as simple

Techies are generally the last guys to be fired. AI is eating away MBA jobs right now
