Well then why are Pyrethroids like Permethrin, Allethrin still used in treatment of Scabies(gajji), Cockroaches ? DDT by far still a very effective and a very potent Pyrethroid against bed bugs. Google may say otherwise, but the concentrations used were never accounted for the variability in the studies. Why do you think bed bugs returned  back after banning DDT then ? Just a mere coincidence?

They returned not because of DDT banning. They returned because they became resistant to DDT.

Las Vegas is in the midst of a bed bug outbreak, with four of its biggest hotels reporting the blood-sucking critters in recent months.

Reports began coming in late last summer of guests leaving Sin City covered in bites, prompting an investigation by the Southern Nevada Health District.

Officials found four hotels — including the $1,200-a-night Venetian and Mirage — had suffered from bed bug outbreaks over the last five months.

Open and read your first reference link  again. Resistance was just in few sub populations and not across all populations. Even then amount of dose used varies across resistant species.Screenshot-20240222-032052-2.png

I get how frustrating it can be dealing with them. It’s like they show up uninvited and just take over. The good news is that there are ways to get rid of them without breaking the bank. Have you tried heat treatments or those DIY sprays?
