Often times, when they cite science you need to look at it with suspicion. Because, there is a whole lot of politics and money involved in the so called 'science' community. Objective analysis and publication always gets pushed aside for agenda items (aka profits and loss of life, control etc.). Even in COVID, I looked up FDA briefing documents of both Pfizer and Moderna before they were granted EMERGENCY USE AUTHORIZATION.

In those briefs, both Pfizer and Moderna didn't even account for those populations who naturally cured from Covid and made generic statement along the lines of Vax efficacy in patients with prior history of COVID is not known. They avoided it. Vax immunity is not demonstrated to be superior to naturally acquired immunity. I've read peer reviewed publications that showed efficacy of Ivermectin , Azithromycin, Doxycycline type of drugs against COVID. But these were ridiculed in the media as well. 

Also, unsurprisingly FDA's then commissioner Scott Gottelib resigned for his job at FDA and joined Pfizer just after approving Pfizer Vax. No one shouted 'conflict of interest'.

Sweeping Generalizations: The statements about "science" being inherently corrupt and untrustworthy are overly broad. While there are instances of bias or misconduct, the vast majority of scientists pursue knowledge with integrity.
COVID-specific Misinformation:
Natural Immunity: While natural immunity does offer some protection, vaccines provide a more reliable and controlled boost to immunity, reducing severe illness and death.
Ivermectin, etc.: These drugs were touted without strong evidence. Large-scale studies have not shown them to be consistently effective against COVID-19.
Conflict of Interest: Mentioning Scott Gottlieb is important, but requires more detailed explanation about why his move raises concerns.
