We are thinking to leave out 1 year old daughter in India for 1 year. My parents will take care of her in India but wondering what are the pros & cons of leaving kid in India with grand parents. Please share your suggestions or experiences if you have any.

Just thinking that India will be good for kids to learn things easily at this age because they communicate with lot of people everyday

Every ones situation is different. If possible, avoid leaving them there. May be get your parents here.

1. Kids get spoiled coz of grand parents. US ki vachaka kuda gola gola chestaru. School lo ibbandi padtharu meeru.

2. Parents know best for their kids.

3. Get your parents here if you are worried about looking after them. or Day care. Its worth it.

They get lonely when they come back here. But they will adjust quickly.

Agree - talking and skills develop fast. If you leave them long, You will be in trouble with the same skills when they go to school. :DI know  a kid who was in india for a few years and schools (multiple) asked the parents to send him to another school as he would not listen. Vadi allaru mamulu kaadu ..

But its a very beautiful age and memories. You will miss them.

1yr old ante slowly walking start chestharu and starts talking few words....picha cute phase miss avthunnaru.

Ippudu kaadu kani, couple yrs tharuvatha baaga regret avtharu as kid starts growing.....first 2 yrs varaku oka level, next as they grow, valla allari oka range lo untadi (depends on each kid though), but regardless you will miss these moments.

between 3.5 - 4yrs varaku its ok to leave them in India....akkada edaina activities sign up cheyyochu like swimming, music, dance, painting or chess etc......picha picha cheap India lo and daily practice unte life long vallaki gurthu untadi.

US lo weekly once ke chaala expensive so ah age lo best. 4 - 5yrs time lo I would recommend them to be in US and enroll in Montessori / Pre-K school, so that vallu 5+ ki actual school time ki they will pick this english and can mingle with kids here.

yeah adhe anukuntunnam... you think 2 - 3 is good time leave in India?

Pros: ur kid will be pampered by grant parents, neighbors etc etc

ur kid will have lot of company to play with.

u dont have to worry about day care fees.

cons:

1) u will miss the most cute phase of ur kid

2) sometimes its like punishing ur parents. Small kids need lot of attention. Considering the age of ur parents, they may be exhausted.
3) there wont be proper child proofs in homes in india. Appudappudu debbal thaguluthayi.

bottom line: dont send kid to india for that long.

IMO, it’s a Very bad idea. As a person I can’t live my kids can’t even think of living with out them even for 1 month. Kids at 1 year are the most precious moments you will miss. Grand parents ki kuda it’s a trouble they won’t have energy. I recommend don’t do it
