We are thinking to leave out 1 year old daughter in India for 1 year. My parents will take care of her in India but wondering what are the pros & cons of leaving kid in India with grand parents. Please share your suggestions or experiences if you have any.

I left during covid and it was a great decision ..kids will learn language very quickly and neighborhood will be full of playing kids in general

Good thinking.... ? . How long you are planning.. it is okay to leave her upto 3 years after that you need to bring her back. Check with your parents for it.. it would be too much painful to them while bringing her back.

Never do that, they will treat you like uncle aunty once they come back and you will never be a Dad or Mom to them NEVER AGAIN!

Far from truth,  I was raised at my Grand parents I reached 12 years. My father took me after that to US. I did not called them as uncle or aunty..

Ee thread lo chana mandi NO antunaru gaaa… nee personal choice bro… kid ni one year india lo vunchali ane thought vachindi antene you are in a different situation….

personally I have seen many of my friends doing this…  their parents are relatively healthy and happy to take care of the kid…

Six months ki ala vuncharu and ikkada six months and next six months… 3 years vache daka alane chesaru…

Apart from missing childhood days one thing I noticed was language barrier… kids had to struggle first few months in day care but some how they picked it up really fast… like with in three months they got good hold of English….
