How big is your kitchen ? That's almost 250 sft new install, 15k upgrade means it has to be 600 to 700 sft of countertop. Ridiculous.

Quartz and granite are almost same cost - go to any store like home Depot or floor decor and you will see

Builders are fooling people - quartz is supposed and is cheaper than granite. Just because of the craze for quartz ( white , clean lines ) they are literally raping buyers.

Also, quartz is very heat sensitive - if you forget very hot pan it will deform.

With spices like turmeric, you have stains which won't  go easily.

Yes, even with granite , especially like colors you need to maintain and seal them every year. But, I'll take granite over quartz

Kotha trend bro. Its fashion trend which is started by builders. Granite is much much tougher than Quartz but nowadays quartz is the latest craze.

White quartz meda pasupu padite :). Builders are fooling new home buyers into making them think quartz is more premium.

Quartz is heat sensitive and a hot pan for longer will melt resin. Quartz not good for kitchens. Also quartz color changes with long sun exposure. So they keep quartz slabs inside stores when you go to countertop store. Granite best and save your money so something worth.

check out butcher block. Have to be careful but it’s unique and can stain whatever color you like as needed with food grade top coat
