Popular Post phani41
I am a TDP supporter but not sure if the alliance will make it this time. 3 reasons for this: 1. Janasena supporters are not initially happy with the 24 count they got, but some how Pavan managed to convince them, later when BJP joined the alliance and demanded more seats, Janasena has to give up some seats instead of TDP. So obviously Janasena supporters will be raged again saying why can't TDP offer those 3 seats from it 140+ seats. So with this, I am thinking they may not vote for TDP candidate either and some may even go and vote for YSRCP to hurt TDP. 2. BJP doesn't even care about the alliance, it doesn't care about TDP or JSP or YSRCP. Because all 175 MLAs and 25 MPs from AP will give unconditional support to BJP regardless of the political party they are affiliated to. TDP and JSP only want BJP with them so that YSRCP will not cause hurdles to do election management (distributing money) and to not block their cadre from bringing people to the booths on the election day. But BJP taking advantage of the situation and demanding more than what they deserve. It's like TDP and JSP keeping BJP as a shield by giving rowdy maamulu (seats) to BJP. Most of the seats that will be given to BJP are like takeaway for YSRCP, because BJP don't have their own voters and TDP voters are not interested to vote for BJP. The reason for this is how BJP reacted when CBN got arrested. 3 Many TDP supporters are not AP voters or will not be there in AP at the time of election. And I believe there is still no motivation for AP voters to vote for TDP as they got used to freebies and are afraid that they may loose all that money if YSRCP is not elected to power And TDP is not giving solid assurance that they will continue the welfare schemes and the volunteer system. And they are more focused on attacking Jagan personally which people don't care. All people want is development and welfare. People who wants welfare will vote more in numbers than the people who wants development. It's a sad situation but it's the reality and it only be fixed when the voters of AP realize what's good for their future!!! 1

It's a sad situation but it's the reality and it only be fixed when the voters of AP realize what's good for their future!!! Good analysis but you forgot some major points. Firstly TDP and JSP merge is a rectification of a royal blunder. I don't see JSP voters voting for Jagan this time just to hurt TDP, they have already seen JSP's TG elections performance. Voters who are accostumed to welfare schemes are mostly Jagan fans already. That vote bank will not go away. BJP and JSP made significant inroads in North Andhra, calling their voter base negligible is a joke. Frankly speaking in Vizag area only BJP and YCP are popular. Jagan with his myopic vision on capital city has definitely created a bad image in his tenure. WGo, Krishna, Guntur are assam to Jagan. The biggest advantage Jagan has is the nibba nibbi batch that just crossed puberty and entered adulthood
