Women particularly under the age of 60 , are more prone to these atypical symptoms

these symptoms appear to be not related to heart and results in severe underdiagnosis and delay in receiving medical attention

Diabetes is the major risk factor for early occurrence of heart attack in woman and also family history of heart attack should make you suspect for further evaluation of these atypical symptoms in them.

the patient usually appear agitated

usually the cause of these atypical symptoms is inferior wall heart

Diabetes is key risk for atherosclerosis which inturn is risk factor for heart attack

Almost 25% people who had heart attack doesn't feel any pain called silent heart attack due to neuropathy (damage to nerves) by diabetes which leads to serious consequences as there is no chance of intervention until late complications happen

Smoking is the biggest risk factor as it not only causes atherosclerosis but also causes blood vessels to heart themselves to constrict called vasoconstriction and not to mention about clotting abnormalities

High cholesterol especially the LDL cholesterol (bad cholesterol) is responsible for atherosclerosis this narrowing the blood vessels to the heart

The best way to reduce bad cholesterol is exercise regularly

Obesity is key risk factor for heart attack as it increases the load on heart causing high blood pressure

Also obesity increases LDL cholesterol (bad) and decreases HDL cholesterol (good)

Obesity is risk factor for diabetes which inturn risk factor for heart attack

TIME IS MUSCLE

the treatment should be initiated as early possible

typically the fibrinolytic therapy should be started within 30 minutes of symptoms onset which consists of drugs like streptokinase etc these are used to break the blood clots unless there are contraindications if in case of doubt of diagnosis

percutaneous intervention such as angioplasty and stent placement should be done as early as possible if fibrinolytic therapy is contraindicated or vessel wall not completely opened even after fibrinolytic therapy

the sooner we start the treatment the more the muscle we can save from death which further influences the life after the therapy or survival of the patient for that matter because it may lead to heart failure and other grave consequences
