bhayya you are reading too much into judges, ACB and Kavanaugh are the ones that rejected the cases in their purview. they'll vote ideologically like they did in Roe v Wade not by president.

President also stands for 'ideas' and therefore will have 'ideology' for those that stand with him. That's not arbitrary and Judges decide things based on loyalty as well.

Let's hypothetically consider a scenario. If you have a strong president who is pro second Amendment and a majority of Congress against it and there is a situation where a presidential veto is being overridden and the bill is being enacted it into a law. If the President has the judges in his favour, then the SCOTUS can rule in "ideological" favour by striking the bill/law depending on the stage of litigation (by pro president parties) and can still uphold a presidential Veto citing the bill/law will fundamentally alter the structure of US Constitution and therefore is against the vision of founding fathers.

If the judges (by numbers)  are against such a President, then the decision may be in favour of Congress by citing the founding fathers gave Congress the power to alter the Constitution with time and per needs quoting precedents from the past or SCOTUS may refuse to hear the case citing lack of standing as it's infringing into the legislative process. It all boils down to loyalty and whose interests are being served.
