I think they are probably enjoying their new home. If they are looking at home prices, the whole purpose of buying home will not be fulfilled.

Naa personal opinion entante - When I bought my home, stopped checking the prices or market. I enjoy my home. I focus on making my experience better (Home theatre, Home Bar, Snooker Table/Table Tennis, Garage Improvement, Garden, etc). Again not FOMO but what I like to do.

Same way I don't check prices after I buy my flight tickets, or anything for that matter. IT saves a lot of heart burn if we know the prices reduced.

  • 3 months later...

Well, homeowners often feel stressed and anxious when their new home’s value drops by $50-100k... This depreciation can affect their financial stability and investment confidence. They might even wonder, "Can I Force My Partner to Sell the House?" if the situation becomes particularly challenging :) Ik such a case. Such a drop can lead to doubts about the purchase and increase emotional and financial strain.
