Have you ever wondered why the food/vegetables prepared is not tasty enough unlike the same recipe we do back home.

Its because the greedy Desi stores are selling genetically modified Vegetables which in turn prone to cause other health disorders.

please do your due diligence before making purchases at low cost food.

Tomatoes in desi store come from Mexico where they use human sheat as manure and I stopped ordering them for my grocery store, now I go to vendor who produce them in FL but they are expensive

Agree that the taste of food with Tomatoes and Onions is great in India.

But where do we get that quality here in USA? Do we have options to buy them from elsewhere which is not genetically modified? In fact I think the tomatoes/onions we get in Indian store are much better than what we get in American stores taste wise.

I generally do not like frozen foods, but shallot onions we tried in Indian store from Frozen section were amazing. Esp with non-veg food. Give it a try.

What are our options now Sonu bhai?

I remember Bangalore Tomato (Roma tomato) whose prices sky rocketed during those days. Esp. during wedding seasons. Soon people realized our regular tomato is way better in taste and started preferring those.

Vine tomatoes or small tomatoes are good to eat raw or or salads. Not for curry. They are sweet.

I don't mind paying more for tomatoes. But where do we get them? I don't believe in organic. ITs a scam.
