Desi stores buy grade c or d ... That's why onions cost is less.. they are not fully riped ... Sometimes grocery stores get them for free...

Tomatoes, all guards ... Are GMO ...

I never knew this. I always wondered by even costco onions are expensive than Desi stores. We got potatoes from Costco but taste wise, I like the ones we get from desi stores (not the 10lb bagged ones) but the pink/white round ones that cost $1/lb.

Will try the onions from these places you mentioned and see if it makes food taste any better. Do you notice any difference in taste?

Not sure if everyone knw this but PLU codes tell you how vegetables are produced

if it starts with 9 it's organic, 3, 4 are normally grown, 8 is GMO

@Sonu_Patel Think seriously about my suggestion to start a brand on your name - "THE Sonu Patel" with a tag line "We make sure what you eat whether cooked at home or eat at our place is TOP QUALITY "

Pain in the ass... As I can't use the whole onion ... For one cooking... We need to store that in fridge .. where I am against to it .. we will not accept any thing from fridge (half used) ...

Just going with the flow ...

Whatever the taste just eating ...
