Brothers, naa neck and lower back are screwed up. PT ki veltunna, they suggested supplements and I'm using them but it's frustrating with constant niggles and uneasiness.  Not used to these issues, I'm trying yoga now as well ....

Looking to learn from experiences, please post what you did that helped you in my situation. Thanks.

1. If you're over weight, you must reduce weight.

Do not eat fried food & reduce junk food.

Reduce your alcohol in take.

Drink lots of water.

find a nice cushion for your neck & butt...! Body posture is important!

2. Buy a massage gun

3. If you're working from home, use recliner sofa made with memory foam or firm foam....it works wonders for back & neck !!! Go around furniture stores & see what works the best for you. It takes some effort to get good comfort!

4. Get body massages every once in a while. If you're married, ask your spouse to massage you. It's much better!

5. Do pilates in the morning. This is very important.

It can be fixed but you have to be committed

1. Don’t sit , always stand up and work

2. If you want to sit , go away from computer

3. Walk daily or go to gym

4. No tv ipad or phone

so your 24 hours should be away from screen except work hours

this worked for me

Remember it will come back within 2 days if you go back to old style

what happened? any accidents or physical injuries or is it age related?

No accidents or physical injuries. Just wrong posture over a time and not enough of exercise.

Points 3 and 4, will start from there. Over last few years with WFH  my phone usage has gone up a lot.

Sitting is the new smoking!! Don't sit for long hours and try to move after every hour of sitting. Try deadhangs or you can try inversion tables this will help stretch your spine and neck.

Good suggestion, will also check with my doctor about this

Standing desk is the immediate need very critical

dont sit and work

ex: a meeting going on, why sit? Put wireless earbuds and walk in the room or wash dishes or cook or clean your room or yoga whatever except sitting

This is early sign of spondilosys. Search for Baba Ramdev yoga videos for neck and backpain, I did them few years back and still do 3 days a week. Dont spend time and money of American PT, they just waste your money - not useful. Even if you go for 6 month - you wont see much difference unless you use our own indian yoga.

Also, do yoga resistance exercises.

all the best!
