Even I started having neck pain recently. Here are some things that worked for me

  • Tried few different pillows during sleep and one pillow worked
  • I do WFH - bought a herman miller and very happy with the purchase as I feel I am now sitting with proper posture
  • Lap lo laptop or sofa lo kurchuni phone chudatam avoid chesa. This had very big impact as well

Still appudappudu vastundi neck pain but very much better than few weeks back

It can be fixed but you have to be committed

1. Don’t sit , always stand up and work

2. If you want to sit , go away from computer

3. Walk daily or go to gym

4. No tv ipad or phone

so your 24 hours should be away from screen except work hours

this worked for me

Remember it will come back within 2 days if you go back to old style

Too much standing is also not good for knees,  better to alternate between sit/stand and stretch in between

Brothers, naa neck and lower back are screwed up. PT ki veltunna, they suggested supplements and I'm using them but it's frustrating with constant niggles and uneasiness.  Not used to these issues, I'm trying yoga now as well ....

Looking to learn from experiences, please post what you did that helped you in my situation. Thanks.

  • Reduce phone usage. Remove Insta and other non-productive apps.
  • Check out your work Ergonomics setup. Monitor has to be at the same level as eyes and proper support for your hands while typing and even for mouse.
  • Learn chair yoga and basic stretching in chair itself. About 1 min to rotate neck. Stretch neck to sides vertically and horizontally. Do at least 2-3 times a day.
  • Take some breaks in between work and stretch body.
  • Make your core strong.
  • Cobra pose, Dog stretch

I absolutely vouch for this. This exercise done daily solves a lot of problems.

Shoulder and neck pain started for most people since Covid. Think of what changed.

  • WFH. Sitting in front of computer for long time esp on sofa, bed, lap, etc and not using proper desk, monitor, ergonomics
  • Increased usage of phone/social media.

Bro, Knee pain baga untunde naku kooda, I later realized it was because of Elliptical, Treadmill chesthe malli emi raledu

also, I used to climb a lot of stairs, fckd my knees , TX lo ranch type home lo unna so stairs assalu ekkedhi ledu ippudu, reduced stress on my knees a lot

For neck pain, get a good pillow with neck support in Amazon, it helps but sometimes I still get neck pain, Aleve helps with the pain , Tylenol does not work at all for neck pain for me

Ergonomic chair also helped a lot with lower back pains I used to have, chair maristhe chalu it was a 180 degree turn, surprised that the lower back pain is gone

also don't use mattress toppers on your bed, they sink and you may get back pain, instead use a firm mattress
