Politically , Kiran has a big legacy. His father Amarnarha Reddy was a tall leader in Congress. Peddireddy is nothing compared to their legacy.

Group politics in Nagiri was the reason. Feedback I received is that ticket should have been given to other son of Muddu.

Jagan called all leaders and told them to work toward the victory of Roja before announcing seat. 

Adda emi kadhule… Reddyvari Chenga Reddy was a very strong leader there.

Amarnatha Reddy moved back to TDP because of him. Kiran was groomed and encouraged by YSR against Peddireddy. Even CK Babu is in not in YCP because of him.

Majority of the district was against him because of YSR before.  Jagan is the reason why Peddireddy got ministry since Midhun and he are close friends. 

One day before YSR death, there was a meeting in Chittoor at CK Babu’s home asking everyone to put their differences aside and work together. 
 

I seriously doubt if Peddireddy asked for favors from Kiran knowing the rivalry for a long time.

Who was most powerful in Chittoor jilla? There was Sandranna, Kiran Kumar family, Peddireddi family, Gali Muddu Krishnayya family, DK Adikesavulu, Chenga Reddy, etc.

You will not find one leader dominating the entire district. Especially in Rayalaseema districts is with lot of powerful leaders.

Kiran’s father Amarnatha Reddy was a tall leader. He was an AICC level leader. For Samithi elections, he fielded a Congress candidate. Rest of the leaders were against him but they couldn’t say anything. CBN fielded Kuthuhalamma as independent after silently gathering support from other leaders against Amarnatha Reddy. This angered him and he expelled CBN from the party. 
 

Peddireddy dominated in recent times and had control over the district except few places lol Tirupati, Chandragiri.
