Nellore is also culturally simiar to rayalaseema . Maximum business people in telugu states are from nellore , more than even krishna guntur belt . Gvk , dr reddys ( prasad reddy )  , gayatri projects , aparna builders  , dodla dairy , mtar, vamsiram builders , rain cements , vpr , bgr , apr , urbanrise , aragen lifesciences ,shanta biotech , dsr  ,  medicover , vijaya diagnostic , kmc  are from this district reddy community  -  Nellore reddy community is highly enterprising even before independence .

Nellore , chittoor and kadapa district have many big businessmen .

Nellore and Krishna still dominate in terms of rich businessmen.
