YCP replaced Congres in AP. Like everyone is dreaming Congress to replace YCP is not happening. Can they dent some vote - Yes? Are they going to be relevant- Not in near future. Let’s wait for time to tell…

How do you know Jagan didn’t talk to them? Do you think they all left without any packages from CBN? How many of them even got minister positions…

I think you should be rather asking what kind of a leader is CBN to buy 23 MLAs from YCP and then giving them minister positions? This is unprecedented in this history of AP politics.

Jagan used social media well in 2019 while TDP pretty much ignore it at that time. With YCP being in opposition, they had lot of people helping voluntarily in Social Media. When they came to opposition, many of them deserted it. It became more centrally driven through Sajjala etc. 

TDP picked up well in Social Media with their party being in opposition and also a centrally ran office by Lokesh. If TDP comes to power, you can see how many will take it easy. 
 

I won’t disagree with how they formed the party and how sympathy had helped as well. But that is where it stops. Did it help getting 67 seats in 2014 - Yes? Did it help in getting power in 2019 - Not much.

BCs & Kammas were the backbone of TDP. With Jagan garnering more support from BCs, TDP can never win an election on its own. Even this election, he gave 50 MLA seats to BCs and went with BC Agenda. TDP are the ones who should be more worried about future if  Kapu vote polarizes towards PK.

YSR sympathy didn't help much in 2019 compared to 2014, because by then it became like old thing....2019 ki babai murder, a bit of kodi katthi + major help was JSP split the voting and ate TDP's share. Imagine if there was no JSP or if JSP+TDP was together in 2019 as well, then 2014 repeat ayyedemo.

regardless, after bifurcation Cong in AP went to 0.....check 2014 voting % by each party, cong didnt get 1%. Now where did that huge historical voter bank went? all those voters died all of sudden? they all went to YCP....its simple.

All cong leaders jumped and so as voters and backed YCP....so Jagan is lucky that he joined (started) a party which was well established (by other means). 

If Cong in AP gains voting %, appudu chudali inka....votes will be split between YCP and Cong. So it becomes even tough for Jagan to regain majority. Same applies to TDP and JSP as well. But lets assume CBN is gone, Lokesh meeda still no confidence and Jr NTR  is M.I.A, so if BJP backs JSP for next decade or so...JSP will be single largest party to get high voting % in AP.

Nah, BJP needs Jagan more than anyone else. Jagan's vote bank is traditionally Congress vote bank. Jagan was able to rout Congress vote bank from the state and snatched away some traditional  TDP vote block too. It's in the interest of BJP to have Jagan on their side as that keeps away Congress from any sort of political power in the state. As simple as that.
