Call the phone#  on the ticket for the court. A clerk will pick up. Tell ticket number and last name. They'll let you know what the fine amount is and what your options are. Usually below 3.
1.Accept Guilt and pay fine. 
2.Accept guilt and opt for defensive driving.
3.Say Not guilty and set a court date to defend.

Court official website lo district attorney office email undemo chudandi. Plead for a non moving violation. Meanwhile, adjourn your court date with the court. Pay the fine after receiving the offer. They'll ask for driving abstract. Simple.

You will get 6 points bro for that speed .It stays for 18 months . If you reach 12 points during the time your license will suspended You also need to pay 300$ for 6 points apart from speeding ticket . Not sure if you can avoid this if you go through lawyer

I was in exact scenario few years ago, my ticket was also +37 mph speeding. I wont be able to go to Court as I'm from NJ and I got this ticket somewhere within one hour distance from Niagara. I tried contacting a laywer who wanted to charge me something close to 1000USD in fees, then I googled online reviews and  I contacted a lawyer who got some good reviews in that particular area, after listening to my story, he said that he doesnt need to take up the case,instead there will be some thing called "Plea Negotiation", for that I need to submit no Ticket history from my DMV, which I did. Matter close within 300 ~ 400 USD fine, no points deducted. That's my story. At that time, that was a big relief for me as I didn't wanna take leave from office losing pay on my contracting job, rent a car and drive all the way to Niagara court (somewhere in that vicinity) and appear in the court that will account for Rent bokka, Gas Bokka and I will have to drive 6 hours straight to reach home by mid night if I were not to miss my office the next day also.
