What ever the numbers modi is becoming the PM again.  Which itself is a great thing. The comedy is a whole bunch of people are celebrating that modi did not get 400. Is 400 more important or being Pm more important. Congress ruled for 2 terms with hardly 150 seats

the opposition threw everything from caste census, religious quotas, democracy under threat what not against the government. This time a bunch of young social media influencers all did lot of damage across youth against Modi. With spread of  internet this negative propaganda was very effective. Negativity dominated the social media. In fact it is of great strong that Modi is coming back to power in spite of all these things

Frankly opposition uses these cards all the time. 

But BJP did well by gaining ground from unexpected places .. last time it was north east, not it's south east. But paid a price in the North

Modi is getting old, BJP needs to make up for it. They used their biggest cards - Ram mandir and Article 370. Only one left is Uniform civil code. BJP needs something more to gain strength
