crime rate is more as you travel towards NY starting from newark. south anta safe ee as far as i know.

Better stay in Edison or East Brunswick side, New Brunswick not good place for Desi families especially with kids.

I worked there in new brunswick for 5 years...

 

If it is new brunswick your workplace, then better stay in Easton north or Franklin park apartments in Somerset... it is 5 mins drive and lot of desis too...safe place also...

otherwise, try apartments on Route 27 towards north brunwick such as Somerset mews
