Thokkalo analysis - jagga lost by a difference by 17% - nor 6-7 percent.

It is an overall revulsion at his rule.

1) Arrogance and over confidence after a big win: Starting from Indira, Vajpayee, Rajiv Gandhi, etc - andarni paiki ethhi kinda padesaru immediately in the next election.

2) Encouraging leaders who use Vulgar language. To prove loyalty, leaders are required to abuse PK, CBN and Lokesh. Whoever did it got minister posts and advisor posts. Also encouraging Posani, Sri reddy, punch Prabhakar, etc. There are some good leaders who talk well but all we saw were the Nani’s, Roja, Ambati etc in the media.

3) No visible development- bad roads, terrible infrastructure overall, no progress on the capital. Land rates have fallen very bad.

4) Publicity pichha: CBN did this and failed miserably. Jagan is another level where even survey stones, colonies, parks, etc also have his name and birth certificates, land title records, stamp papers also have his name 🤦‍♂️

5) Targetting PK: this united all Kapus. Last lo mudragada aithe highlight.

6) Employees: they were totally pissed as he didn’t even meet them when they agitated, they never got salaries on time with some departments delayed for months.

7) Liquor policy: this upset many men for the high prices and low quality liquor they are getting in AP.

😎 Last but not least - Ipac and Sajjala team. They kept him in a trance and false belief that he is the new God and ppl are worshipping him. Kallaki ganthalu katti election ki thiskapoyaaru..

That may have been a political strategy that backfired, but it has got nothing to do with his arrogance. If he is arrogant, he wouldn't have let his govt topple by just 1 vote in 99. Speaker at that time was TDP's Balayogi. He bowed down to the decision of speaker. Can you expect such things to happen in this Mosha era?

"...

Gamang's vote had created a major row at that time because he had taken over as the Odisha chief minister. He had, though, yet not resigned from Lok Sabha. "The fact that he had taken over a full-time political appointment in a state whose legislature he would have to be a member of, it was expected that he would not take part in a critical vote in Parliament," the author says.

The Speaker was asked to rule and the matter was left to Gamang's conscience. "His conscience told him to follow his party's orders, and so he voted against the confidence motion," Sinha notes, adding that Gamang is ironically now a BJP member."

YCP internal groups lo circulate avutunna points ivi..

1. Amaravathi destruction: Analysis says that he lost 3 to 4% vote bank because of a lot of youth all over the state felt bad about the fact that even after 10 years of state division there is no capital for the state and even the one capital that they tried to build, he tried to destroy it. Amaravathi ni touch cheyyakunda undi unte easy gaa 39% nundi 43 to 44% ki vachi unde vaadu.

2. Alienating Sharmila and sending her to congress: Sharmila ki ivvalsina properties evo ichi tanaku party lo MP seat ichi unte easy gaa inkoka 1 to 2% add ayyedi which would have bought him to 45% which would have given him neck to neck edge with TDP's vote bank.

3. CBN arrest: This cost him another 1% vote of neutrals. Till 6 months before election CBN oka sachina pamu, he was 74 years old with no support from center with a son that was good for nothing. Arresting him unnecessarily costed Jagan at least 1 to 2% votes.

Ivi moodu cheyyakapoyi unte he would have still won, despite of the shitty ruling, land titling act scare, bad liquor brands, alienating Reddys in the state and siding with SC/ST/BCs and so many other things because whatever vote bank he lost he made up through his welfare schemes. Sometimes your over confidence brings you down and Jagan's case is the best example. In the history of Indian politics a party that won 80% of the seats in the previous election lost power in the subsequent elections only once.

Itlane unte next time vacchina 11 kooda raavu. First one may be correct. Second point - no cared about Sharmila and her mother going away. It only made YCP supporters uncomfortable. Rest of us didn't care much about it. Third point has some validity. But even before CBN's arrest, people decided to vote YCP out. Graduate MLC election results were clear indication. Uttarandhra lo below 29% vote share vacchindhi. Rayalaseema lo 2 MLCs TDP geluchukundhi. 3 MLC seats covered more than 110 constistuencies .nearly 11 lakh people participated. Thats clear indication.

Arrogance kadu.. over confidence..

In the above case, a BJP speaker wouldn’t have allowed Gamang to vote knowing well that will lead to the govt collapse.. in case of a tie, the speaker would have voted for BJP…

now you know why BJP won’t give the speaker post to TDP
