Is that a hard and fast rule? We all know how the rules are bent in India. Details should come out. Had it been approved 3 months earlier, there must be some news earlier.

Middle east to Vijaywada/Vizag I think is not too much to expect and I really wish it happens soon.

traffic is dependent on business in that area inherently. 

Manam always looking from personal travel side - kaani aa area lo business lekunda, full service airlines ravali ani expect cheyyadam BS. 

Vizag Vijayawada ki low cost airlines tho subsidized connections pedithe the engine may start rolling. Thats what was done during the prev term for VGA. But as usual Jagan anna removed subsidies and airlines flocked back cutting routes to AP. Its a chicken and egg problem.

It’s not approval, its notifying DGCA. Essentially its an undertaking by the airline that they have sufficient aircrafts and staff to service the sector. Additionally, DGCA keeps an eye on the airport slots domestically, Gannavaram airport is not a busy airport but Mumbai is, considering all these challenges DGCA requires airlines to notify them at least 3 months ahead for new scheduled routes i.e regular routes which the airline plans to run for considerable period of time. There may be approval already and airline may not start immediately or withdraw or delay the operations. It’s not a public news so there won’t be any notifications.

You mean an MP pushing a privately run airline for a direct service to Mumbai?

Hardcore Pulkas claim its Ram Mohan Naidu at work from day 1. You claim its Bala Soury's pushing for past few months, in that case credit should be given to YCP Govt. Isn't it ?
