You are on right path now but your bias is making you look at wrong examples.

Go back 100 years to 1914. Computers were the size of a big room and could only do basic calculations.

Look at what you have in your pocket. Smart phones are 1000s of times more powerful and it fits in our pocket. If someone would have told a person about a smartphone able to make international calls for free and watch videos etc etc, that person would have literally though that they are mentally unstable or something.

Look at vaccine advancements....how many millions of lives are being saved. Infant mortality rate has dropped like a rock. You or me, one of us wouldn't even have survived childhood without such advancements.

2898 AD is 874 years into future.

Bill Gates is already talking about how inefficient mouth to mouth communication is. There are talks about storing our memories into cloud in future. Evolution is slow to keep up....so we are going to start altering nature soon. Humans won't be dependent on Trees or fruits/vegetables in future. We can even get energy from sun. People will live forever, can fly and start living on other planets as well by 2898 AD
