True..Sashi kapoor 1981 Kalyug movie..Dalapathi lo Rajini character are all based on Karna character which where a hit with audience

But anna gari slaves argument verey laga untadi : karnudu great anedhi fact and great kadhu ana vallaki ami teliyadhu ani antaru

That's because Arjunudi parakramam meedha movies raledhu. Karnudu battles escape Aina scenes, Draupadi Vivastra cheese scene lo Abhimanyudu ni champatam lo palgonadam lanti scenes movies lo levu.

Karnudu strong plus to give away Kavacham plus Kundala, both of which would have otherwise made him immortal(Amrutham vasthadi vati nunchi Ani description) will make Karna fans adamant. There is some truth to it too. It's one of the what if scenarios, that didn't happen but we don't know what would have happened if that's the case.

There is no proof that it actually happened and it is not useful to know if it real or not...

Can you describe the events that happened in the life of your great grand father and how he and others in his life  would look like? Do you even have a written account of that? If absent, does it make you stop believing what your forebears like grand father or father told you about those events? If yes, is it not a case of absence of proof?

You are talking of things that happened in a different Yuga altogether. Here is a written record that's faithfully being passed down generations, and the narration describes almost to the minutest details like a full bound script.

Even if you were to write story, you will always be influenced by the memories you gained through life experiences, media and surroundings, so it wouldn't be 100 percent original. The ithihasas are like no other. Those are original pieces, with no parallels anywhere else in the world, during the said timeline. What are the odds of that? That alone makes them likely written accounts of that time. 

I don't disagree with your closing remarks though.

Lesson ade kada, reality eppudu oka hero oka villain la undadu ani, same person can do good or bad based on circumstance.
