EAD and AP combo card expiring on Sep 19, 2024

Re-entry ki edina minimum validity period unda for EAD/AP?

Have approved H1B i797 till 2026 but no visa stamping and immediate ga return avvali due to job situation

Also Indian passport expiring on Dec 21, 2024 (less than 6 months) and when enquired with Indian immigration division in BLR airport they said I’m good to return to USA with less than 6 month passport validity and 2 months of EAD/AP combo card and I also see that India is one of the countries exempted from 6 month passport validity rule in US Customs and Border Protection website.

Anyone with similar experience or come across any known persons who returned with 2 month EAD and AP validity?

You can return on AP until the day of expiry. Should have no issues watsoever. Expect to be called into secondary...it has nothing to do with ur AP validity.

Note: EAD cannot be used for reentry unless the notation below says serves as I-512 advance parole.

Thanks bhayya. Yes, I have EAD/AP combo card expiring on Sep 19, 2024.

In general, we can apply as early as 120 days prior to expiration annaru but do you know how late can we file for EAD/AP renewal? Just want to check if I have enough time for renewal and 

Also, return vachaka H1 transfer undi to client whom i am working for quite sometime....H1 transfer chesthe automatic revalidation avutunda with revised I94 based on H1 transfer?

or should I first step out of country (canada or mexico) for automatic revalidation with current employer and then file for H1 transfer?

1. There is no time limit on that. You can let it lapse and apply later as long as there is pending 485. However, if working on EAD, you need a receipt before expiry to get automatic extension.

2. No, You will still be on Parole status

3. Need to step out and get back in to get into H1B status. Status change wont happen within the country for Parolees.

Ippudemanna change aithe telidanna, when I was applying online i94 update avvaledani chepparu friends. may be out of error then. Regardless of whether it changes or not, status remains valid.

I want to continue on H1 and most likely client is going to offer fulltime in 1-2 weeks upon my arrival.

Do you recommend to step out canada or mexico and get automatic revalidation and then apply for h1 transfer?

You can do H1 transfer after entering. Whether your i94 refreshes after H1 transfer approval or not, you still have a valid status and continue to work on H1B. When you step out and return, you can automatically be on H1 status. Search Cronin memo...it states that you can continue working on H1b even after entering the country as parolee.

No need to stepout bro but as I remember it gets back you to h1 status after transfer or extension (but idj avakapoyina you have no issues) you can continue to extend h1b is still valid

Back in US using EAD / AP combo expiring in next 8 weeks without any issues. Passport expiring less than 6 months so koddiga delay with Air India boarding pass but all good

Latest i94 validity 1 year ichadu with Class of Admission DA (advance parole). I was expecting i94 only till EAD/AP validity date..

Ead is not dependent on passport bro admission has no impact adi just 1 year ala istaru you can stay how ever you want once you file extension you will get refreshed 94

Can someone confirm mailing address for i765 and i131 renewal from New Jersey with pending i485 receipt notice starting MSC*
