Peoples preferences do change . Parties like sad in punjab and bsp in up were once dominant , but gave way to new political forces . As an incumbent , any party has cadres to fight in election . Once they are in opposition , if another party can position itself as an alternative , cadres / leaders shift there automatically .

exactly my point… that’s why don’t jump the gun and make inaccurate prediction that scamgress and bj p are only going to stay… TG people taught nice lessons to national parties in the past and will continue…

Ofcourse politics is the art of the possible . The trend could be towards national parties or maybe regional may revive also if the circumstances allow . The question is whether tg has entered a post regional phase like karnataka . Let´ s see .
