Hindu legends of Ramayanam, Mahabharata had great wars described in detail in them. Go look up the walls and pillars, roofs of Ancient temples in India, you will see the sculptures of weapons and reconstruction of battle scenes too some of them even appear to be technologically way advanced. The wars are fight for Dharma. It simply means Hinduism is not pacifist.

You will see Hindu kings expansion to far East to the places of Indonesia, Philippines. Expansion doesn't come without armed struggle or at least skirmish. In relatively recent Indian history Chatrapathi Shivaji's Maratha Empire almost single handedly took on Mughals. The fundamental point of conflict was religion and Shivaji was keen establishing Hindu rule. It has always been like that. 

What's wrong with Lord Ram being in six pack? Lord Ram was a Kshatriya. He was a sworn protector of his realm and fought wars. It's to indicate his war time persona. Another avatar of Lord vishnu Laxmi Narasimha Swami was always shown in 'Ugra Avatar'. Jamadgni' s son Parusurama single handedly struck all Kings who were ruling at time to avenge his father's death. You will see all of his depictions with a battle axe. Goddess Durga is always shown with weapons even with the corpse of Mahishasura. Her fierce avatar Kali is even scarry looking but holds a significant place in the tantra. Even the cute looking god Ganesha is quite scarry looking if you look him up in his Ugra Avathara, and his tantric forms like Uchista Ganapthi will be beyond your comprehension. It's all about multiple faces of same gods. This is why I say Hinduism is not pacifist at all. If you think so, you have a twisted understanding. 

Describing a way of life is only one aspect of a religion. That's already known and I never disputed that. Most of the aspects of life that you described are to attain Moksha. But that's not the only way. One need not be pacifist as shown in the legends and history. A religion will have aspects of conquest and expansion too which is imperative in establishing a rule, a culture and civilization. It's classified as "Dharma" in Hinduism and it's dependent on time and circumstances.

Of all, you chose Gandhi, a pacifist and that too a British implant who slept naked with girls of his grand daughters age. Ofcourse his projection is seen in the ranks of Congress and Communists and both are Islamic Sympathizers. Forget name calling, that's a fact.
