Healthy and active kid, early morning got a seizure first time. Doc did tests and sent home said nothing abnormal.

Need some follow-up appointments.

Anyone faced such scenario ?

Seizures are moderately common in kids younger than 5 years... but treatment has to be done if it occurs frequently... as it affects the brain functionality.

So do not neglect and get the diagnosis done and find the root cause as soon as possible...

9yr old.

In US, they did CT and some other tests and said nothing abnormal. Looking for followup neurology appointments but 45 day wait. Now he is normal like before.  Just a normal playful kid.

Thinking of India but only concern is it a good idea to travel now and stress him more though he is pretty normal now.

@PeruguVada  kaka cheppinattu India ki vachi test's cheyyinchuko Kaka.. Max 45 to 50 K avvuddi (if they write CT, MRI etc.) but the chance of early detection is high.  You can go for Claim with Your Insurance.

in US the diagnosis takes very long time. I lost my friend to cancer because of delayed diagnosis..

Plan accordingly...

If the kid is below 5, some kids usually get febrile seizures when they have high fever but these usually go away once they grow out of it. But getting the CT would be the best bet to know the cause.
