I have HELOC open (approved). but never used it.

what is the purpose you looking for?

PROS - Accessible to big amounts whenever you want. Interest rate is less compare to credit cards.

CONS - Variable rate.

Good decision. use this funds when there is blood flooding on the street. Boyapati sreenu movie type lo undaali.. appudu ee funds use cheyyi investment ki.

I'm not sure about this. I have BOA account. first 6 months discounted after that it is all market rate + BOA mark up.

what is the FED rate today? 6.7 is very good.

it should be FED rate + Bank markup (profit). markup is anywhere between 2.5 to 3%. i don't think 6.7 is correct. unless you are referring to a Promotional rate for certain period.

For BOA - There is no Yearly maintenance. But if you dont use it for 1st 3 years, we need to pay $450 service charge for initial paper work. The account will be open for 10 years.
