Dont pay single dollar. I had 8000 bill from 3years ago. Paid only 1200 till date. All I get is letters from collections nothing more no credit impact. They will cancel bills after sometime. Do not even bother negotiating. Negotiating will have an impact on credit. In worst case it will fall from credit report after 6 years of no interaction with collector
