I have been to Guntur recently and went around ring road and around communities. Damn impressed with the size of the roads even in communities. I have not seen that big roads even in VJW or Hyd.

Probably newer areas and the Guntur Urban development is enforcing them. I wish more of that happens.

The condition of the roads are horrible in internal villages. But I have not seen the kind of wide roads in Guntur anywhere else. Not even VJW.

Also very impressed with National Highways, the way they are maintained. Well done Central Govt.

It has been more than 20 years ago I went to Guntur region. Recent gaa choodaledhu. NH5 was close to Guntur. Kolkata to Chennai highway. I think it is now NH 16. It covers number of villages. And Kiran Govt has announced in 2014. I think CBN Govt finished ring road in 3 years.

Recent announcement choosthe gatham lo vesina roads kante at least 20 times more vesthaaru. Vij-Amaravati east/west bypass, outer ring road 210 KM. And Amravati lo roads like seed access and other number express, semi-express, arterial, sub-artiel and collector roads - 60m, 50m, 40m and 25m. And see access (E3), E11 and E13 and probably E15 will connet with NH16. Ee roads anni complete ayithe oka range lo untundhi. I saw a couple of video seed access road and west bypass road under construction. Excellent unnayi. The biggest challenge would be 15m/17m roads connecting all the plots in the capital. Avi complete ayithe..there is no looking back.

Did not get a chance to visit amaravati.

But roads to villages are in horrible condition. There are times where I had to get down the car and think for 5 mins on how to navigate through those pots and which one is smaller.

Guntur has very less density and city has developed lot early with planned roads

vijayawada city is not part of city of vijayawada

I could feel that. Got a nice feeling going around the city. Also it was drizzling, so the street vendors were not many .. Could also be a reason why roads looked big. But the roads within a colony was a big shocker to me. Quiet big. Well planned.

My in-laws live in Gachibowli - busy area. Bought in 2010 times, not too old. Two cars from opposite sides cant fit in the road at same time.

I have no idea on the place. Lots of communities are coming up in a lot of cities but not every one has these size roads. I guess urban development authority put down good rules
