i think this is a ploy to cut him down to size, if bjp highcommand do all this stupid tricks , it will back fire to them , changing yediyurappa in KA paid off very badly, he is popular CM in bjp ,only equal face to siddu (cong) in KA

‘Man wants to become Superman, Dev, Bhagwan,’ says Bhagwat. Congress links it to ‘non-biological’ Modi

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat dwelt on man’s aspirations at a meeting in Jharkhand. Earlier this year, PM Narendra Modi had told the media he was ‘convinced that god has sent me’.

New Delhi: RSS sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat’s comment at a meeting about man wanting to become Superman and even Bhagwan (God) has taken a political twist, with the Congress seeking to link it with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“I am sure the self-anointed non-biological PM has got the news of this latest Agni missile, fired by Nagpur from Jharkhand and aimed at Lok Kalyan Marg,” Congress communications chief and MP Jairam Ramesh said on X, embedding a video clip of Bhagwat’s speech

In the video which has since gone viral, the RSS chief can be heard saying there is no end to progress and there is also no end to people’s greed.

He was speaking at a village-level workers’ meeting organised by Vikas Bharti, a not-for-profit organisation, in Jharkhand’s Gumla.

 

“Is there ever an end to progress? Development is such a thing that once we reach it, we realise we can go further. When we reach our goal, we see that there is still more to go… man then wants to become a superman… in movies they show Superman who has extraordinary powers. So a human wants to have such power… but he doesn’t stop there. He then wants to become a Dev. But Devtas say Bhagwan is bigger than us, so then he wants to become Bhagwan,” Bhagwat said.

The Congress used the RSS chief’s remark to take a dig at Modi who had said earlier this year that he is convinced that “Parmatma” (God) has sent him.

During the Lok Sabha elections in May this year, in an interview with News18, Modi had said: “Pehle jab tak maa zinda thi, mujhe lagta tha ki shayad biologically mujhe janam diya gaya hai. Maa ke jaane ke baad, in saare anubhavon ko main jod kar dekhta hoon to main convince ho chuka hu… ki parmatma ne mujhe bheja hai.”

(till my mother was alive, I used to believe that I was born biologically. After she passed away, upon reflecting on all my experiences, I am convinced that god has sent me)

Bhagwat also said a worker should always keep in mind that even after a lot has been done, there is always scope for more.

A lot of work is to be done… even if we have taught many children… a new generation is coming up which needs education… development is a continuous task. A worker should have a feeling that we have done so much, but a lot is left. You should not think that I planted so many saplings. Saplings have to be continuously planted. So something more will have to be done. A new generation will come and this will continue,” he added.

The RSS chief further asserted that ‘Sanatan Dharma’ believed in the welfare of mankind and that the world had started following the roadmap of happiness provided by India after the COVID-19 pandemic.
