Calling it 'Kejriwal ki 5 guarantee', the party promised free electricity, free medical treatment, free education to people, Rs 1,000 per month to every woman in Haryana and employment for youngsters.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's wife Sunita Kejriwal on July 20 launched five guarantees for poll-bound Haryana.

Calling it 'Kejriwal ki 5 guarantee', the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) promised free electricity, free medical treatment, free education to people, Rs 1,000 per month to every woman in Haryana and employment for youngsters.

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and senior AAP leaders Sanjay Singh and Sandeep Pathak were also present during the launch of 'Keriwal ki 5 guarantees' in Panchkula.

The Haryana Assembly polls are due later this year. The AAP has already said it will contest all 90 Assembly seats in Haryana, claiming that people want change and are looking at it with great hope.

Arvind Kejriwal, AAP national convenor, is currently in judicial custody in an excise policy-related case.

"Like in Delhi and Punjab, all old domestic pending bills will be waived. Power cuts will be stopped, and arrangements will be made for 24-hour electricity like in Delhi and Punjab," the Aam Aadmi Party said.

On its second guarantee 'free healthcare for all', the party said that Mohalla Clinics will be established in every village and neighbourhood like in Delhi and Punjab. " All government hospitals will be revamped, and new government hospitals will be built. Every resident of Haryana will receive free treatment, whether the illness is minor or major. All tests, medicines, surgeries, and treatments will be free. This will save people a lot of money and provide significant relief from inflation," the party announced.

Promising free education for all in Haryana, AAP said, "Like in Delhi and Punjab, the education mafia will be eradicated. Government schools will be made so good that people will want to enroll their children in government schools instead of private ones. The hooliganism of private schools will also be stopped, and unjustified fee hikes by private schools will be curbed," the party said.
