How conveniently people have pushed this on Congress. If the govt implements they are stupid and to be blamed. But if the proposal came from IT and corporate, they are to be blamed for requesting.

What are the alternatives? Dont say Hyderabad. Our Infra is worse and have same issues as Blr. No other city can come close.

chennai mahabalipuram road has already good no of companies some of them are chennai based cognizant and hcl

tcs also has great presence in chennai and also few other international companies like paypal..etc

pune also has good no of it companies

pandamic tarvatha companies also not willing spend crores on big cities real estate, instead they look for smaller cities like Coimbatore,  Vizag (if politics are good)..etc

If most companies set up their hubs in smaller cities, its a good move for them as well as for those cities/states. However it still does not challenge Bangalore as the Silicon Valley of India.

Imagine how much investments have to come to Vizag, Kochi, Pune to challenge Blr.

Hyd has potential, but has same problems as bangalore. NCR is the only city that can challenge and their infrastructure is decent. But they have traffic problems too. And Pollution is horrible there due to burning to agri fields after harvesting season
