As per law, yes. But normal public only think practically, they are not bothered,  if two individuals fight/shoot and compromise. Here public property is not damaged. Even, They didn't sell any tickets for public to watch their shooting and defending skills. They didn't try to gain in anyway by showing their emotions. Whatever happened was in a private property. They both forgot and living their life. 

I told my perception, Bro. its upto you. If you want to have fun, poking into others personal unfortunate events and relate to public scandals, in the name of law, you please continue.
